Text Box: She was born with her umbilical cord wrapped around her neck. It took the doctors 5 minutes to get her to cry because she wasn’t breathing well on her own. Two hours later she was doing well. This picture was taken less than 1 hour after she was born.

Text Box: Jonathan is such a proud big brother. It has been a big adjustment for all of us. He wasn’t so sure this was going to be a good arrangement but now he wouldn’t give her up for the world. It is amazing how much Katie looks like he did when he was born.

Text Box: Katie smiled for the first time at 6 weeks old and hasn’t stopped since. She is a very happy baby and has also discovered she has a voice and loves to babble.

Text Box: Jonathan was concerned at first that Katie would only enjoy looking at Mom but now he has discovered that she saves her biggest smiles just for him. He is in love!! (as we all are!!) Everyone is enjoying this new addition to our family. We are so blessed and thankful. What a gift.
